Raised in 2001, Digitaldubs is the 1st sound system in Rio de Janeiro, creating a new chapter in the Brazilian reggae culture.??With a studio and label (Muzamba) Digitaldubs produced and released many albums and 7” singles featuring some reggae legends as Ranking Joe (the hit “Fyah Bun Dem”), Brinsley Forde (former Aswad), Earl Sixteen, Tippa Irie and Daddy Freddy. More productions and remixes was featured on labels like Universal Egg, Wordsound, Tanty Records and Man Recordings. A special mention goes to the original soundtrack they composed for the documentary “Dub Echoes”, released on Soul Jazz Records. Aside from their traditional parties in Rio, the crew made many tours around Brazil, Latin America and Europe.
